Description: Secnidazole solution is a gram-positive and gram-negative structured antimicrobial active against bacterial and parasitic infections. Due to being an imidazole derivative, it has excellent penetration, allowing for treatment of deep tissue. It is used in the treatment of opportunistic infection due to MRSA; community acquired bacterial skin decalcification and sloughing (CABSD); intraabdominal abscess (IAA), resulting from peritonitis or complicated pelvic surgery.
